1. General Provisions
1.1. These terms and conditions govern bookings for function rooms and accommodations at LaSalle House.
1.2. By making a booking, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit, as stated in the booking confirmation.
2.2. Full payment is required at least 14 days prior to the booking date.
2.3. Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayNow UEN.
3. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds
3.1. Cancellations and changes must be made in writing (via email or official letter).
3.2. Cancellation and change policies apply as follows:
• One-time change is allowed anytime up to 14 days before the booking date free of charge, subject to availability.
• Subsequent changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• No changes are allowed within 14 days of the booking date.
• 50% refund for cancellations made 30 or more days before the booking date.
• 20% refund for cancellations made 14 or more days before the booking date.
• No refund for cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date.
3.3. Refunds may take up to 14 business days to process.
4. Usage of Function Rooms and Facilities
4.1. Function rooms must be used for the purpose agreed upon at the time of booking.
4.2. The maximum capacity of the room must not be exceeded.
4.3. Decorations, signage, or equipment setup must be approved by management.
4.4. Room setup is allowed up to one hour before the event start time, subject to prior coordination with the retreat house.
4.5 No changes to layout of the event room booked within a day.
4.6. The booking party is responsible for any damage to property or facilities.
5. Accommodation Rules
5.1. Check-in time is 0900, and check-out time is 1400.
5.2. Quiet hours are from 2100 to 0800.
5.3. No smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances are allowed on the premises.
5.4. Guests must respect the retreat house's purpose as a place of rest and reflection.
6. Health and Safety
6.1. Guests must comply with all health and safety regulations, including re safety rules.
6.2. In case of emergencies, guests must follow the instructions of staff.
7. Liability
7.1. The retreat house is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to guests' property unless caused by gross negligence.
7.2. Guests are advised to secure their belongings at all times. The retreat house does not provide storage facilities for personal items.
8. Force Majeure
8.1. The retreat house shall not be liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or government restrictions
9. Amendments
9.1. The retreat house reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with updated terms published on our website.
10. Personal Data Protection

By making a booking, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data by La Salle House for the purposes of managing your reservation, providing services, and complying with legal obligations.
10.2. Types of Personal Data Collected
The personal data we collect may include your name, contact information (e.g., phone number, email address), payment details, and any other information necessary for your booking.
10.3. Purpose of Data Use
Your personal data will be used for the following purposes:
• Processing and managing your booking.
• Communicating important updates about your reservation.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Enhancing customer service and experience.
10.4. Sharing of Data
We may share your personal data with third-party service providers only when necessary for the completion of your booking (e.g., payment processing) or as required by law.
10.5. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
10.6. Retention Period
Your personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated above or as required by applicable laws.

11. Viewing and Tours

11.2. Guests may book a house tour, which is conducted bi-weekly, to familiarise themselves with the retreat house.
